About PayPeriodCalculator
PayPeriodCalculator is a free biweekly timesheet calculator. Enter your start and end times for a two-week pay period, and it shows your hours for each day and each week, your overtime, and, if you add your hourly rate, your gross pay.
Who it's for
It's made for people paid by the hour: retail and restaurant staff, nurses and caregivers, warehouse and factory crews, drivers, and anyone working shifts who wants to check their pay before payday. It also works for small business owners and office managers who need to add up an employee's time card without a spreadsheet.
How it works
Everything runs in your browser. The page sends your hours nowhere, needs no account, and loads nothing from other websites. Your entries are saved in this browser so you can fill in your hours as the two weeks go by. Private browsing deletes them when you close your private tabs or windows. Safari may delete saved site data if you use Safari for 7 days without using this site, so Copy result or Print is the way to keep a lasting record.
The calculation follows the federal Fair Labor Standards Act: overtime for hours over 40 in each workweek, at one and a half times the hourly rate. If your employer rounds start and end times, you can round them too, to the nearest 5, 6 or 15 minutes. State rules and employer policies can differ, so treat the result as an estimate and check it against your pay stub. The terms of use explain how each number is calculated.
Who runs it
PayPeriodCalculator is run by Summercloude Pte. Ltd., a small software company in Singapore.
