The short version
Your hours stay in your browser. There's no account, no analytics and no advertising. The site sets no cookies of its own, and the calculator sends nothing to us.
What's saved in your browser
To bring back your entries when you return, the page saves your times, breaks, hourly rate and settings in this browser's storage. They normally stay there until you clear this site's data in your browser settings; Clear on the page removes your times, breaks and rate, and keeps your week start and rounding choice. Safari may delete them if you use Safari for 7 days without using this site, and private browsing deletes them when you close your private tabs or windows. Other browsers and apps, even on the same phone, can't see them, and neither can we. Anyone else who uses this browser can see them, so on a shared computer, use Clear when you're done.
What our host sees
Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and other details of each visit to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. If Cloudflare needs to check that a visit isn't from a bot, it may set a security cookie for that check. Cloudflare's privacy policy explains how it handles that information.
If you email us
Email to hello@payperiodcalculator.com is handled by Google, our email provider. We use it only to reply to you, and we delete it within 13 months.
Children
The site is for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13.
Advertising
The site shows no ads today. If we add advertising, we'll update this page, and the date at the top, before it starts.
